We know what the solo founder journey is like. StartupDevKit was built by its solo founder, Carl Potak. We would encourage you to double any time estimates of however long you think it will take you to achieve most projects with your startup, including the Accelerator Program. You will find that our program has lesson content that will help you learn where and how you can find potential co-founders. When you find co-founders and/or teammates, you can upgrade to any of the Accelerator plans for teams and the subscription will be prorated so they can join the program with you and then you all can get on the same page and they won’t miss out on the action, going forward. The Accelerator Program has several objectives which you can see below. On top of our monthly focuses, one of our company’s overarching objectives is to help you avoid the top pitfalls that cause 90% of startups and 70% of venture-backed startups to fail -- and to help you get in a better position to succeed. We incorporate these teachings into our lessons so you can benefit from our experiences and knowledge. Monthly Focuses:

Determining If You’re in the Right Phase to Join the Accelerator Program

Our accelerator program starts at the phase where startups have just validated their idea(s) and are getting ready to start turning those ideas into concrete actions to build their company and their product or service. Not all startups who are looking into our accelerator program are going to be at the same stage and that’s okay because the accelerator program will still be able to provide you with tremendous value from the first lesson onward. Startups can join our Accelerator Program at multiple inflection points during the early stages of their startup. But the earlier, the better. Even if you’ve already started building your MVP, for example, you can still participate in our program and be able to get quite a lot of value from it. You’ll be able to learn more about product strategy, user experience, marketing, lead generation, customer success and customer retention, your investment strategy, and more. However, if your startup idea is not yet validated, you would be best served by joining our Incubator Program and then joining the Accelerator Program after you’ve finished with that.

If You Didn’t Come Out of Our Incubator Program:

As long as you have thoroughly validated your startup idea with prospective customers, and have found the idea to be profitable, then you will meet the minimum requirements to join our Accelerator Program.

Startup Incubator Platform - The information in this product is meant to help startups invalidate or validate their idea, give them information on how to build their product or service, give them helpful templates, and provide information on early user acquisition.

Startup Accelerator Platform - The information in this product is meant to help startups accelerate their growth, mainly through marketing and public relations. However, there is information on business development practices, resources, contact lists, templates, and additional materials.

Startup Survival Secrets - This is an eBook that breaks down the top 20 reasons why startups fail, according to CB Insights, and provides root causes to each of the top 20 reasons. They are then explained and more information is given to help the reader understand how to avoid the root cause and suggests what one should do instead.

Mentoring and Consultations - These are consultative services rendered by employees and/or independent contractors with different fields of expertise who are equipped to help startups.

Subscriptions - Subscriptions to our email list are at-will and individuals who are on the list have signed up either specifically for the email list, as part of a promotion that requires an email subscription to receive the promotion, or from signing up for our membership platform.

GENERAL POLICIES

No Representations – StartupDevKit makes no representations about appropriateness or availability of the website in other countries other than the United States of America.

Purchases are made either through PayPal Standard or credit/debit card via Stripe through StartupDevKit’s secure payment gateway.  

Individuals that purchase a membership will be charged at the time of the transaction.  

The membership will be active for the duration of the membership plan purchased.  

If a user purchases a plan on sale, then that user's plan will renew at the same rate unless the plan is canceled.

Members are eligible to receive a refund within 30 days of the activation of such membership. After that time frame is passed, no membership refunds will be processed.

If a plan is canceled, then this means it will not be renewed for the next billing cycle.  The member will still receive benefits of the plan until its end-date.

USER REPRESENTATIONS

Upon registration, the user promises that all the information provided at registration is accurate and will be updated if necessary.

USER BEHAVIOR

Any user-submitted questions, ideas, or information regarding the rendering of services for any individual via comments on pages, through the Facebook group (https://facebook.com/groups/startupdevkit), or via email can be used by StartupDevKit for any purposes they want, except for malicious or hateful attacks in any form.

Prohibited Activities

A user is prohibited to sell, reproduce, or copy any of the information obtained on StartupDevKit.com for financial gain. 

In addition, users are forbidden to use the content from StartupDevKit.com to be re-transmitted on anyone's website without consent from Carl Potak, the CEO and Founder.

Users are strictly forbidden from sharing their membership account with other individuals outside of their team and memberships are only for the team's use.
